By Rachel Kistner onApril 03, 2020

Minecraft is a popular video game that is now coming in handy for kids—and their parents—to help stay on top of education during quarantine.

Minecraft is offering its educational content for free to all players on the Minecraft Marketplace.

Child Playing Mindcraft

From history to biology to the inner workings of the solar system, your kids can learn about a wide variety of educational topics in a fun, stimulating setting. There are multiple “worlds” that host different topics to learn, and each world has puzzles, build challenges, and writing activities to follow up with each topic.

You can download and get started today.

Minecraft downloads are free through June 20, 2020.

To find these educational resources, simply visit the in-game store after you launch the game. The game is available on Android and iOS, Windows 10 PC, Fire TV, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Gear VR, Oculus Rift, and Kindle Fire.

This is a fabulous FREE teaching resource for parents to take advantage of and kids to enjoy!
