Asian Slaw - Favorite Salad Recipe Contest Winner

2 pkgs. Ramen noodle soup (Oriental)
2 (8 oz.) pkgs. of cole slaw mix (shredded cabbage)
1 c. sliced almonds
1 c. sunflower kernels
1 bunch green onions, sliced
½ c. sugar
¾ c. vegetable oil
1/3 c. white vinegar


Begin by breaking Ramen noodles into bottom of a LARGE bowl. Set aside seasoning packets. Pour cole slaw on top of the broken Ramen noodles. Top slaw with the nuts and green onions.

In separate bowl, mix sugar, oil, vinegar and seasoning packets together. Pour mixture over the slaw, cover and refrigerate for 24 hours (12 hours works fine). Toss before serving. Very simple, very easy, very nutritious and very delicious.
