Zero Gravity Gymnastics Academy has proudly been training gymnasts in Waco and the surrounding areas since 2008. Zero Gravity’s new and fully air-conditioned facility offers recreational gymnastics, tumbling, power tumbling, preschool, mommy and me, special needs, and cheer classes. They also offer a boys and girls competitive team, Level 3 through Elite. Along with these structured classes, they host birthday parties, open gyms, and pre-school fun days. They only use state of the art equipment including competitive cheer and gymnastics flooring. Zero Gravity has a large and comfortable viewing area that allows you to watch your athlete, a private pre-school area for the safety and training of our younger athletes, and a gymnastics pro-shop that includes a nice variety of gymnastics leotards and ZGGA t-shirts.

Zero Gravity is owned and operated by Tracy Cowan and Becky Peacock, who both are USAG certified and have exceptional backgrounds. Tracy was a competitive gymnast for 7 years, and she has been a competitive coach for over 20 years. Becky has a master’s degree in physical therapy and a specialty in special needs and developmental pediatrics. Brian Gibbs is the head team coach, and is USAG certified. He was a competitive gymnast for over 10 years, and he reached Class 1. He has been a USAG competitive coach for over 10 years, and has trained several state champions.

Zero Gravity’s USAG safety certified staff works hard to simply give each child the opportunity to achieve their highest potential in a safe Christian environment with quality gymnastics and fitness instruction. Their goal is to provide a fun learning experience that each child can learn to develop a sense of accomplishment in trying new things, mastering new skills, as well as, an appreciation for fitness and health.

Zero Gravity is the proud home to several champions. Our exceptional athletes for the 2009 year include: Sarah Robinson, who was the Level 7 Floor State Champion; Kaitlin O’Sullivan, who took home the title of Level 7 Bar State Champion; Andrew Cole, who won the title of Level 4 State Floor Champion; and Kaelyn Cowan, who claimed the title of Level 9 State Champion on floor, beam, and vault. In addition to Kaelyn’s state titles, she captured 2nd place on the floor exercise at Level 9 Western Nationals. Zero Gravity has several other state and regional winners on both the boys and girls competitive teams and is very proud of all our athletes and accomplishments.
