Hawaiian Falls—Waco is one of the city’s coolest ways to chill out on the hottest of days of the year. From water slides to a lazy river, to treats and eats, this water park has it all.
There's something for everyone at Hawaiian Falls--from the laid back to the thrill-seeking. The park even has a rating system that tells you how thrilling a ride is before you get on it.
For those who are looking for a calm dip in the water, or for those visiting with small children, Keiki Cove might be the perfect spot. This massive rain-fortress includes slides, a whirlpool tunnel, and a lazy river just right for little ones.
If you're a little more adventurous, or if you are visiting with older children, then you might try Splashwater Reef or the Tikie Tower Slides. These require more advanced water skills, but are equally fun.
And if you're a thrill-seeker at heart, then you'll love the attractions that have a high rating on the "shaka" scale. One of the crowd favorites is the Pineapple Express. It’s a high speed, six-person mat racing slide that sends riders through an enclosed tube, spiraling around before shooting participants out side-by-side on a rapid downhill slant.
Visitors looking to skip the thrills and relax, can float down the Kona Kooler, through trees native to the Brazos River.
The staff of Hawaiian Falls work diligently to provide a clean, safe and welcoming atmosphere. The park is staffed with lifeguards and EMTs to ensure the safety of all those who visit the park. And because Hawaiian Falls was built on Christian values, inappropriate attire, profane language and horseplay are not permitted inside the facility.
Hawaiian Falls also provides tons of summer entertainment with special events that include performances by DJs, contests, movie nights and even fireworks.
Whether your family consists of lots of Lil Kahunas or Big Kahunas, Hawaiian Falls provides hours of water fun.
