Valentine’s Decorations You Can Make Yourself

16258343_lWhile you've probably been avoiding eye contact with the Valentine's décor in the craft stores and the supermarket because they started displaying it in November, it's time now to lift your eyes and find some festive decorations to dress your home with Valentine's Day cheer.

If you don't have the funds to buy something pre-made, then try your hand at creating your own décor with these easy DIY projects.

Heart-Shaped Wreath
Why spend money on an expensive floral wreath when you can make one at home out of coffee filters? The mom behind Soccer Mom Style used a package of the filters and some water colors to create a stunning wreath that is sure to brighten up any dark, wintry door.

Lovely Branches   
A vase of decorated tree branches can be a nice way to dress up a mantle or dining table. And when you add cute, sparkly foam hearts with your glue gun, they can be even more festive and inviting. If you're looking for some kid-friendly DIY décor, than try making this easy Valentine's garland. It can be made with felt, paper or any other material you have around the house. Not only will it get your little ones involved in the decorating, but it will be something you can use year after year.

Outdoor Décor
Those conversation hearts aren't just for inside the house. You can also create some festive foam hearts to decorate the outside of your home.
